A cracking jumper with a big international show jumping career ahead of him
With two sires whose offspring have won several millions of euro in prize money - Olympic gold medal winner Cento and breeding genius Landadel - Centadel has the perfect pedigree for top-level competitive show jumping. Centadel has already demonstrated his outstanding jumping ability by winning novice horse classes up to 1.30 m level. In 2009, he qualified for the World Championship of Young Show Jumping Horses in Lanaken, Belgium, and was one of the prize winners at the German Young Riders Championship in Aachen with Andreas Kreuzer.
Sire, Cento, is the best Holstein horse of all time with competition winnings of more than one million euro. His offspring, which include over 100 successful 1.50 m level show jumpers, are already demonstrating an almost equally high earnings potential. Maternal grandsire Landadel's offspring have an incredible collective lifetime earnings total of EUR 4.6 million and include 191 successful show jumpers competing in 1.50 m classes. He produces top horse after top horse, has 72 approved sons, sired team European Champion Lady Weingard and has many other outstanding progeny.
His first offspring have demonstrated impressive ability and careful technique in loose jumping tests and all have inherited maternal grandsire Landadel's type characteristics. Centadel's performance pedigree is rounded off with the thoroughbred blood of Black Sky xx, sire to top dressage stallion Bolero, and consistent producer of top show jumpers, Gotthard. Centadel is directly descended from the dam line of international show jumping stallion, Governor, who was ridden by Michael Whitaker and Philippe Lejeune.
