It would be very difficult to combine the genes of more champions. Christian is the product of a probably unique connection and impressively demonstrated his uniqueness at his 30-day test in Schlieckau in 2009 where he had the highest scores in jumping.

His sire, Cartani, is the result of breeding the two-time Olympic stallion Carthago Z to the WC team gold and individual bronze medal winner, Taggi. Cartani was a Holstein premium stallion, qualified for Bundeschampionats twice with the highest score and placed internationally, winning for example the Grand Prix of Dobrock/FRG. Cartani sired several sons that were licensed in Oldenburg, Holstein and Belgium.

Christian is from Cartani's second crop. His dam, Miss Liberty, competed in sport under the name Who knows Lilly and participated in the Olympic Games in Athens/GRE. The granddam, Miss Playback, is the dam of the licensed stallions Liberty Life, Lord Pezi and Lord Pezi Two. Liberty Life (by Lord Liberty) placed fifth in the 1996 Bundeschampionat in the class for six-year old show jumpers. Later, he and Gilbert Böckmann were successful in Nations Prizes and received the VTV Jumper Stallion of the Year award for their achievements. Lord Pezi (by Lacros), who was also stationed in Hamstrup and placed in advanced level show jumping, was the sire of the 2005 OS Champion Stallion, Luca Toni. His full brother, Lord Pezi Two, was also a high achiever on advanced (S) level show jumping courses. The great granddam, Wichtelfe, known in sport as Windspiel, was also an advanced (S) level show jumper. Through her daughter, Wichtige (by Zymbal I), she is the granddam of a licensed stallion named Pablo's As (by Pablo), who placed in the 1997 Bundeschampionat Final and then went on to win advanced (S) level show jumping competitions. Wichtelfe's daughter Landelfe (by Landadel) is the dam of Katharina Offel's La Martinee (by Landclassic). The Schwabensprung line is also known for the licensed stallions Fiorissimo (by Werther), Laibach (by Lukas) und Weißdorn (by Waldmeister) as well as Thomas Frühmann's show jumper, Domspatz.
