Clinton II is a Holstein stallion with an excellent competition track record.
He has boundless scope and is absolutely determined to cross the finishing line without faults. In 2005 he was Holstein Reserve Champion ridden by Thomas Voss and he also won team silver at the Asian Games before continuing his international career with Mexican show jumper, Ariana Azcarraga, and Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst. Clinton was among the leading prize winners at the Grand Prix classes in Mannheim, London, Munich, Dresden and Neustadt/Dosse. As a result of his competitive prowess, he has only sired a few offspring up to now, yet they are already showing great promise as competition horses with successes in novice horse classes up to 1.30 m level. His foals have an elegant build and excellent gaits.
Clinton II's sire, Carolus I, was also a successful international show jumper who notched up many 1.50 m class wins. He consistently passes on his show jumping qualities to his offspring, which is obvious by their collective lifetime earnings of more than EUR 1.3 million. 123 Carolus I progeny are successful show jumping horses at 1.50 m level. Clinton's II's full brother, Clinton I, is also an international show jumper. Carolus' sire, Capitol I, has won over five million euro in prize money. He is also one of the most consistent show jumping sires in the world and founder of a global stallion dynasty. Maternal grandsire Calypso II's genes shine through his offspring and he has established his own successful stallion line via Contender. And there's more: Clinton II is descended from the successful Holstein 4965 line, which has produced internationally successful competition horses such as Zandor Z/Jos Lansink, Padua/Ralf Schneider and Poor Boy/Beat Mändli. Clinton's full sister, Hirtin, was also a successful show jumper under the name of Chica Bay. She is dam to the internationally successful licensed stallion, Levisto, who is the current holder of the "Sire of the World" title.
