This perfectly performance-bred Converter son has proven to be an absolutely first-rate show jumping stallion. Even in his first show jumping season, Conthargos shone as winner of the Championship of Four Year-Old Show Jumping Horses in Dobrock, where he led the field with a score of 9.5 after previously winning classes for novice horses with scores as high as 9.0. In 2009, he again proved that he is in a class of his own with further show jumping wins and top scores in his 30-day test. Conthargos produces beautiful, elastic foals that impress onlookers with their athletic gaits. Conthargos' sire Converter won 22 novice horse classes up to 1.30 m level, was Oldenburg Regional Champion in 2005 and runner-up show jumping stallion at the World Championship in Lanaken. In 2009, one of his offspring was the German Horse Breeders Association's licensing champion. Conthargos' maternal grandsire, Carthago Z, competed successfully at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 and has produced a whole Armada of top competition horses with total competition winnings of more than EUR 2.7 million. 227 Carthago Z offspring compete successfully at 1.50 m level!
