The best Holstein sire of all time whose progeny have won over €1 million.

Cento proved his athletic abilities by winning an Olympic team gold, the Aachen and Calgary Grand Prix and earning over €1 million in prize money. His offspring are now hot on his heels after crossing the €1.05 million threshold in collective prize money in 2009. Cento has sired over 100 successful 1.50 m level show jumpers, including Carmelita, the horse that Ludger Beerbaum celebrated success with in Aachen, 2008 Bundeschampionat finalist (score 9.5) Chintan, ridden by Franz-Josef Dahlmann, Balve winner Dobel's Cordina and many others. It is no wonder, then, that Cento's offspring are so highly coveted. Coco Mademoiselle sold for a record price at the 2008 PSI Auction, while Cesanne went under the hammer for €315,000 and Cendoxella for €320,000 in 2009. Cento is consistently performance bred. His sire, Capitol I's progeny have won collective prize money of over €5.2 million and include 215 successful 1.50 m show jumpers, confirming his reputation as one of the best breeding stallions in the world. Maternal grandsire, Caletto II, produced Classic Touch, the 1992 Olympic gold medal winner, and his great granddam, Legende, won the Rome Grand Prix at the tender age of 7 years.
