Show jumping legend and sire of top performance horses who has won millions of Euro in prize money. Team Olympic gold medal winner, European champion, World Cup winner and best Holsteiner of all time. Cento has proven his ability at top-level show jumping by winning prize money totalling over one million euro. Examples of this stallion’s outstanding achievements are Grand Prix wins in Calgary and Aachen and a team gold medal at the Olympic Games. Not only one of the best jumping stallions but also one of the best breeding stallions in the world, this Holsteiner is passing on his extraordinary genes to his progeny, which have already won collective prize money of EUR 948,000. 89 of Cento’s offspring compete successfully in 1.50 m classes and there have been young horses sired by Cento among the Bundeschampionat finalists every single year. In 2008, four Cento-sired six year olds were in the final, including fifth-placed Chintan with Otto Becker, who received the excellent score of 9.5. Cento’s progeny are already been successful on the international show jumping circuit. Dobel’s Cordina won in Balve, Controll and rider Otto Becker have already been placed in three star 1.50 m classes and many have been sold to other countries, where they are successful competition horses. Cento now regularly sires P.S.I. Auction horses and one of his progeny, Coco Mademoiselle, was one of the highest priced horses at the 2008 auction. His sire, Capitol I, is recognised as one of the best Holstein jumping horse producers and his progeny have collectively earned more than EUR 5.2 million. Maternal grandsire, Caletto II, produced the celebrated Classic Touch – Olympic gold medallist in Barcelona – and his great-granddam, Legende, won the Rome Grand Prix at the tender age of seven.
