Fürst Romancier brought home a stack of rosettes in his first competitive season. He won the qualifier class at the World Championship in Verden and came fourth in the final despite stiff competition. At the Bundeschampionat he came second in the qualifier with a score of 9.0 and fourth again in the final. He's a very willing horse with excellent collection and he's the perfect gentleman, which predestines him for a brilliant future in competitive dressage. In his 70-day test, Fürst Romancier received top scores for his basic paces, 9.0 and 9.5 for rideability and a dressage index of over 148 points. Not only is he an impressive performer, he also has an impressive pedigree. It unites the genes of Dressage World Champion Fürst Heinrich with the Oldenburg Edoste line, which has produced Bundeschampion and European Championships competitor Exupéry, Vice Bundeschampion Landjuwel Gold, Olympic contender Petit Prince and Grand Prix-winner Avignon. Fürst Romancier delivered the most expensive foals at the Ankum auction, sold for €37,000 and at the Elite Auction in Vechta for € 45,000. The Oldenburg Association's official foal assessment for Fürst Romancier was "very good".
