Frozen Semen Ordering Procedure
- Please complete a Frozen Semen Order Form and Frozen Semen Sales Contract and mail to Mariposa Frozen Semen Import Service along with a cheque or money order payment at least 2 weeks before the order date posted on our web site. If your order is not received in time, it will be sent with the next order date.
- Mariposa Semen Import Service will ship semen via Fed-Ex to the location indicated on the Frozen Semen Order Form using the Fed Ex Account Number indicated on the order form. Please note that under no circumstances will semen be shipped prior to full payment of the semen and receiving a Fed Ex Account Number. Upon shipment, Mariposa Semen Import Service will notify you of the Fed-Ex tracking number. If there are any questions, please call Fed-Ex directly at 1-800-463-3339.
- When the semen container arrives, please transfer the semen to your storage container and sign the enclosed receipt form. Purchaser has 24 hours to report any discrepancies or errors. Be sure that your representative properly checks the shipment at time of
delivery for any errors or damage. Any complaints received after 24 hours of receipt and without a signed receipt form at time of shipment arrival will not be honored.
- Return the semen container along with the signed receipt form to Mariposa Semen Import Service via pre-paid FedEx within 48 hours. To return the container, please ship via Fed-Ex’s 2-day service using the enclosed Return Label to Mariposa Semen Import Service.
- Mariposa Semen Import Service strives to collect insemination results data. Please report your breeding results to us when they are known. Insemination data results are only as accurate as the number of breeders reporting their results back to us.
