It was actually only logical that Incolor's success would one day bring him a great honour. The best bloodlines found in the pedigrees of international top sires flow through his veins: His sire is the world famous C-Indoctro, who received the "VTV Jumper Stallion of the Year 2008" award, and the stallions Capitol, Caletto II and Argentinus have been joined with a highly refined Oldenburg dam line, a winning combination for success in breeding. Incolor's half-brother on his dam's side, Fortinbras, is an international athlete and the sire of the mare, Liza Minelli, the young horse World Champion.
His career began with second place at the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International licensing in 2003. As a 4-year-old, he triumphed at the Oldenburg State Championships in the 4-year-old show jumper class and then went on to win tests for young show jumpers with scores up to 8.9, continuing all the way to advanced level classes which he won in series.
Under his trainer, Otto Vaske, Incolor has chalked up international placings in advanced level classes such as the warm-up test "Sires of the World" which took place during the World Championships for young show jumpers in Lanaken, Belgium. Toward the end of the season Incolor took second place in the Grand Prix of Oldenburg in the Weser-Ems-Halle and first place in the Grand Prix of Vreden.
