Latouro represents the Holstein lineage 8626 which brought about the high performers Landgraf I and Ronald. Even successful in jumping up to class M, Latouro provided talented performance horses in all disciplines with winnings totaling 156,468 Euros. As expected, the majority of his descendants come from jumping, where they achieved numerous successes up to heavy-weight class.
In the relatively small Hesse warmblood breeding alone, Latouro provided around 300 descendants. He was responsible for numerous winners, for example at the breeding mare examinations (Lady, Leonie), at free jumping championships (Luisa von Blauen-Stein, Latoura, La Petite, Lassia) or the Hesse Jumping Horse Championships (Louisa, Lavaro). Added by several top championship foals (Le Bijou, Leroy Brown, Le Beau, among others). Latouro has sired altogether 8 licensed sons, including Lacota, Löwenstern I and II as well as the prize-winning southern German, Lichtstrahl.
Latouro's current overall FN breeding value in jumping is still 118 which corresponds to the positive tendency in the breeding value assessment of the former Association of Hessen Horse Breeders where he achieved values of up to 146 at that time.
His successes includes 8
