Royal Dawn is currently for sale for $10,000 or reasonable offer to a good show home.

This lovely young mare is a friendly, kind, sensible-tempered youngster with 3 good gaits. Dawn currently stands 16.2 hands, and is continuing to grow into what we expect will be a substantial, but elegant mare. She is remarkably pleasant, uncomplicated to handle and train. When started under saddle, she proved herself to be a very willing learner. She accepted a rider without any hesitation or fuss and gives a good feeling under saddle, showing easy trainability.

Her sire, Royal Senna, currently competes at PSG/Intermediare, despite a heavy breeding schedule. Grandsire, Rubinstein, had 40 international Grand Prix wins. He consistently passed on superior rideability and trainability, and exceptionally superior temperament to his progeny. Many years after his death, Rubinstein continues to be ranked amongst the top in breeding books through the success of his progeny. Airport, was one of 19 stallion sons sired by the legendary Argentan, who sired successful competition horses winning over 1.6 million DM. Airport broodmares are very highly regarded, not the least of which included 3 Champion German Riding Horse mares at the DLG show.

Dawn's mother, Come Spring, was a pretty, but substantial 17.1 HH Thoroughbred mare imported from Argentina and was in the winner's circle at the track. She had a very kind and loyal temperament. At her warmblood inspection, she elicited many compliments from the judges for her quality of conformation, elegant long-legged appearance, and her bold, powerful, correct movement. Come Spring, descends from a very good damline where we find the stallion, Utopico, who is found in several Verband-approved thoroughbred stallions standing in Europe. This is a lineage which consistently produces strong sport horse type, exceptional handleability and rideability, and are especially athletic in the show jumping arena. Unfortunately, Come Spring died at the young age of 9 years and Dawn was her only foal.

Royal Dawn, from left to right, 3 weeks old, 6 weeks old, and at 2 years of age.
