In 2010, Dawn will be started under saddle and presented before the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association for breeding approval. This beautiful young black mare is an exciting representative of Rubinstein I heritage. She is a friendly, people-loving, kind, sensible tempered youngster, inheriting Rubinstein's very pretty head. Her movement oozes powerful athleticism and she is remarkably pleasant, easy to handle and train. Her sire, Royal Senna, was winner of his 2000 Stallion Performance Test and is currently successfully competing at the Intermediare I level around North America despite a very busy breeding schedule. Her grandsire, Rubinstein I, rocked the Dressage world, winning no less than 40 Grand Prix wins in the international arena. He consistently passed on superior rideability and trainability, and exceptionally superior temperament to his progeny. Despite passing away at the early age of 14, his progeny have continued his winning tradition in the international show ring. Many years after his death, Rubinstein continues to be listed in top 5 in the breeding books through the success of his progeny. Her sire's damsire, Airport, was one of 19 stallion sons sired by the legendary Argentan. Argentan sired spectacularly successful competition horses earning over 1.6 DM in winnings. His broodmares were very highly regarded, and included three Champion German Riding Horse mares at the DLG show. Through her sire, Dawn, is also related to the very impressive Old/NA approved stallion, Royal T, a highly successful dressage competitor around North America usually achieving scores in the mid 70's against tough competition. Royal Dawn's mother, the very pretty mare, Come Spring, was imported from Argentina. She was a very substantial 17.1 hand mare, who elicited many compliments from the Canadian Warmblood judges for her quality of conformation, movement and temperament. Unfortunately, Come Spring, died unexpectedly at the young age of 9 years and Dawn was her only foal. Dawn is currently 3 years old and stands 16.2 hands. We expect her to continue to grow into a very substantial mare, finishing around 17 hands.
Dawn is offered for sale at $15,000.00 FIRM. She is ready to be started under saddle and will be started professionally In the fall. Price will increase with training.
