We are incredibly excited to add a new arrival to our band of very special mares. Ster mare Videlia (Keur eligible) is a mare we are very excited about. Beautiful, extremely well-bred, with an elite international pedigree, Videlia boasts being the offspring of parents who are both Olympic horses. Videlia's sire, Olympic Ferro is world renowned for producing top quality offspring who are successful in the international arena. Her mother, Olympic Fidelia, was Kathleen Raine's Olympic mount as the alternate on the US dressage team for the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000. Videlia has superb rideability and trainability, and is an extremely athletic mare. Her career aspirations were cut short by a serious paddock accident. As a broodmare, Videlia has produced spectacular offspring who are successful under saddle in their athletic endeavours. Videlia's damline is second to none and highly predicated within KWPN. She is 6th in a direct line of highly predicated Prestatie or Preferent mares who have produced international competitors, approved stallions, and predicated daughters. We have decided to breed Videlia to Gaudi SF, who is a son of Totilas, the internationally successful stallion ridden by Edward Gal and more recently by Matthias Rath. Gaudi's damline is an enormously successful mare line in terms of producing athletic, successful horses, approved stallions (such as Bretton Woods and Chagall) and highly predicated mares. We are very excited to see this foal in the June 2019.
